In order to prepare students for this future, the Landow Jewish Academy's educational philosophy is one built upon teaching core values and skills needed to prepare students for the unique challenges of their generation.
No longer can we teach using rote methods, disconnected from practice. Rather,
innovation, creativity, and collaboration must be at the forefront of student learning. Our students will learn math through balancing a checkbook; social studies through developing a business plan for the Start Up Incubator; science through apprenticeships in the community; and english through writing financial grants for real student proposals.
